Born and raised in Coventry in the UK. I went to school at Limbrick Wood, then to Woodlands School, both in Coventry, then onto Henley College and Coventry University, where I studied computer science.

I’ve been lucky enough to be employed pretty much all my life, starting with a technical apprenticeship at Lodge Ceramics, based in Rugby. I then held a temporary position at Husky Computers in Coventry and from there, I took a Customer Engineer position at IBM, usually working out of IBM Warwick; this was probably the most enjoyable job I’ve ever had. I then moved onto Phoenix Technologies, commuting to Elstead near Guildford. The low point came when Phoenix shut its UK offices. I had hoped to transfer to their US office, but that didn’t work out.

I applied for a job at General Software near Seattle, hoping to work abroad. I started working from the UK for them, and then transferred to their US office where I worked for 18 months. After the visa expired at GS, I set out to travel the USA for three months. I spent a total of 10 weeks on the road, travelling from Seattle to Key West in Florida and back again, totalling over thirteen thousand miles.

Lately, well I had a nice long rest and time off work when I came back to the UK. It gave me a chance to spend quality time with my grandparents, family and friends. Eventually though, I had to get a job, so I'm currently working as a full-time website designer away from Coventry.

I've been learning the guitar in my spare time, I've been playing for more than two years now. A while back a friend from the USA came over and brought over a CF Martin D-41 Special guitar for me, which is possible the best object I have ever owned. I play it everyday, and I'm currently taking lessons to improve.

The other distractions at the moment, is a new home cinema system, comprising of an Onkyo 875 amp, 7.1 set up, including Mission Speakers, KEF Sub, 50 inch 1080p Plasma, PS3 and Sky HD. I enjoy the PS3, I'm currently trying to get my head around echoChrome, which is a 3D puzzle that defies the laws of physics. I'm also loving the blu-ray discs, can't beat the high quality sound and vision.
